“Those of you who know me, know that I like to post about music around Llangollen. My good friend Cliff told me, get down to the RAFA Club on Sunday afternoon because there is a great band called ‘The Alibis’ playing. So I did, I also had a lovely pint of mild!
Sometimes I get a shiver when I see something I really love and this band gave me that. The X factor, keyboards as usual, plus the whole band sang.
They were fairly local to Llangollen: Alan is from Ruthin whilst the rest are from Prestatyn, Mold and Chester.
Songs included: Do I Do, Feel the Need in Me, Hold Back the Night, Good Times, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Are You Ready for Love, Kiss, Virtual Insanity, The Tracks of My Tears, Master Blaster (Jammin'), which subtly turned into Jamming by Bob Marley, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, Play That Funky Music , September, Let’s Dance... and many others!
