About The Alibis

The Alibis are a dynamic, high-energy 4-piece band, playing for all ages and occasions across Cheshire, North Wales and the Northwest of England. We are highly experienced musicians and can provide a setlist that meets your musical needs, whether it’s your wedding, birthday, anniversary, or any other reason you can think of for throwing a party!

Our mission is to fill the dancefloor and make sure our audience has an unforgettable, stand-out experience!

We love to play soul music, funk, Motown and disco (plus some surprises!)  guaranteed to get you and your friends up out of your seats and onto the dancefloor!

So, alongside the music of Stevie Wonder, Chic, James Brown, Prince, Lizzo et al, we can Rock your DJ with Robbie Williams, make you Jump to Van Halen and create Virtual Insanity with Jamiroquai!

“Those of you who know me, know that I like to post about music around Llangollen. My good friend Cliff told me, get down to the RAFA Club on Sunday afternoon because there is a great band called ‘The Alibis’ playing. So I did, I also had a lovely pint of mild!

Sometimes I get a shiver when I see something I really love and this band gave me that. The X factor, keyboards as usual, plus the whole band sang.

They were fairly local to Llangollen: Alan is from Ruthin whilst the rest are from Prestatyn, Mold and Chester.
